FAQs
How can I help?
Participation is easy! Below are some ways that you can participate in #GivingTuesday:
GIVE - Support your passion and make a donation online, over the phone, or in-person on December 3, 2024 when the event is live for 24 hours! You can also mail in a check donation, clearly marked “Giving Tuesday” to the Oregon Tech Foundation at 3201 Campus Drive, Klamath Falls, OR 97601.
CARE - Spread kindness and generosity by saying thank you to someone a part of the Oregon Tech community who has impacted you. On the Klamath Falls and Portland-Metro campus, we have cards you can write on and deliver. Online, we encourage you to leverage our Giving Tuesday Advocate Toolkit and consider writing a message of gratitude to share via email.
SHARE – Visit our Giving Tuesday Advocate Toolkit to learn how to share the message on email and/or social media with your network. Be sure to use #GivingTuesday and #TogetherOwlsGive when posting on social media.
What can I support?
You can support the student clubs and athletics, programs, and funds at Oregon Tech that you are passionate about.
Some examples of funds that make a difference for students at Oregon Tech are:
The Helping Owls Fund: Donate to an emergency fund for students, so that when they need it, they can apply for financial support from the university.
Student Basic Needs Fund: Help connect students with local community-based support that can help meet their needs regarding financial instability, food-insecurity, and housing.
The Bird Feeder: Provide access to free food on campus, so students don’t have to worry about their next meal.
